Custom Spray Booth Project:

We are a public transportation manufacturer, and our company was looking to make a process improvement following our primer coating application. We began searching for equipment suppliers and through one of our inquiries Tim Steffen called me right away. He visited our facility within a day or two of our first conversation.

Mr. Steffen took the time to take photographs and measurements of our production area, and he developed a specification for our process. Within a week or two Tim came back into our facility to meet with me and our engineer to discuss our options. He introduced us to Nova Verta and explained the reasons why this equipment was the best possible choice for our application. Tim did a nice job outlining and articulating the value of this equipment compared to a conventional paint booth.  He also helped us tremendously coordinating with utility contractors so that we could execute the project through a single source.

Tim’s engineering background and finishing experience was a big help to us, and he stayed with us during this project from beginning to end. He was always available when we needed him, he was timely with his follow-up, and he represented himself in a professional manner at all times.

Powder Coating Primer and Top Coat Application, Liquid Spray Booth and Liquid Batch Cure Oven:

We are a custom manufacturer and steel fabricator, and our company was interested in making several paint process improvements to meet our customers’ specifications. Tim Steffen was referred to me by the Engineering Manager of our Nebraska facility. After vetting several suppliers our paint team determined that the innovative system design and layout proposed by Mr. Steffen best suit our requirements - and it fell within our budget.

Mr. Steffen also took the initiative to help us develop a specification for a new pressurized liquid paint booth. Over the course of several weeks Tim came back into our facility to meet with us and go over all of the project details. Tim and his suppliers were very cooperative with us by helping identify which areas of the project we could manage ourselves. We are very pleased with the outcome of our project and the efforts of Mr. Steffen and his team. The equipment was delivered as promised, installed on time and within budget.

Tim’s extensive knowledge of both liquid and powder coating systems made him a valued member of our paint team. His timely follow up and support allowed us to hit our milestones and start-up dates for the system.
